Iran-Vietnam joint economic session opens in Hanoi

Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA – The sixth Iran-Vietnam Joint Economic session opened in the presence of Iran's deputy Commerce Minister Babak Afqahi in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Monday.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Commerce Minister, Mehdi Ghazanfari, is to hold talks with top Vietnamese officials during his visit to the country.

Ghazanfari departed to Hanoi Sunday evening.

During Ghazanfari's stay, avenues to bolster economic ties and ways to facilitate bilateral trade will be reviewed by the two sides.

Businessmen and industrialists from various sectors including textiles, clothing, dried fruits, petrochemicals, technical and engineering services, rail road construction and foodstuffs are accompanying the Iranian minister in his visit to Vietnam.

Iran-Vietnam trade exchanges hit dlrs 131 million last year./end
