BAKU HOSTS INT`L CONFERENCE ON INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY IN CUSTOMS SPHERE
Baku, December 21 (AzerTAc). The first international scientific and practical conference on information systems and technology in customs sphere has today started here.
The event was co-organized by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and Russian Federal Customs Service.
Deputy Chief of State Customs Committee Rza Hasanguliyev said the role of information and communication technologies in Azerbaijan increases rapidly. He said applying information technology in customs was one of the directions of the Committee`s work.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology Elmir Valizade briefed the participants on the accomplishments in ICT sector in Azerbaijan.
Other speakers at the event spoke of how to apply information systems in customs.
