LUNDEEJANTSAN:WE MAKE DECISION IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A regular meeting of the MPRP group in parliament was held Monday to discuss an issue of 2010 general government budget that was vetoed by President.
Head of the group P.Lundeejantsan said that "we solved an issue of distributing MNT 1 billion to each electoral district in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. However, everybody understands that this investment money of billions MNT will not go to pockets of the MPs; there have been differences in understanding". "Budget general supervisors and province governors will spend this fund for local development. It will not be spent by the MPs," he said.
A draft law on human development fund has been debated at the meeting. Group members consider that it is needed to draft a regulation for realization of this law. A decision was made to discuss a draft regulation at the next meeting.
A renewed revised draft law on national holiday of Naadam has been discussed as well. The MPRP members did not back this renewed draft because some members proposed that the state has to participate dominantly in organization of the national holidays.
The faction made a decision to nominate Kh.Badamsuren MP as chairman of the parliament sub-committee on Millennium Development Goal and Poverty Alleviation, D. Zagdjav as head of Management Development of Local Development, R.Bud as chief of the sub-committee on small- and medium-sized enterprise development, E.Monkh-Ochir as chairman of the sub-committee on special supervision and Ch.Ulaan as head of the sub-committee on immunity.
