SPORT JOURNALISTS TAKE PART IN WORLD PRESS BRIEFING FOR ASIAN GAMES

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian sport journalists took part in the 1st World Press Briefing of the 16th Asian Games that will be held in “Flower City" of Guangzhou from November 12-27, 2010.
The 16th Asian Games, part of the worldwide Olympic movement and governed by the Olympic Council of Asia, organized its World Press Briefing (WPB) from Sunday December 13 to Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
Vice President of Mongolia's Sports Journalists' Association Ch.Otgonbaatar, a chief editor of the Tavan Tsagirag sports newspaper R.Manlai and an editor-in-chief of "www.sportnews.mn" website participated in the gathering.
The Asian Games are the second largest sports events in the world after the Summer Olympic Games. More than 14,000 athletes, trainers and coaches from 45 countries and regions will compete in 42 sports. Some 10,000 accredited and non-accredited worldwide media are expected to cover the Games with more than three million spectators expected to attend.
