Iran, Vietnam to hold joint economic commission

TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (MNA) – Iran and Vietnam will hold their sixth joint economic commission in Vietnam's capital city Hanoi on December 22.


Iranian Commerce Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari is scheduled to chair the meeting, IRNA news agency reported.


The two sides will discuss different issues within the scope of trade, joint venture, banking and customs cooperation, holding exhibitions and exchanging trade delegations in agriculture, transportation, and fishery sectors.


They have also envisioned signing agreements on avoiding double taxation, boosting joint investment and cooperation by national chambers of commerce.


The Iranian delegation will also be accompanied by the Director of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Babak Afqahi and a number of other commercial executives.
