Dilapidated gas pipeline explodes in Ingushetia.

NAZRAN, Ingushetia, December 20 (Itar-Tass) - A gas pipeline accident
in Ingushetia has left several villages of the republic's Malgobek region
without gas.

According to reports of the Ingush Interior Ministry, an explosion
that caused a gas leak occurred on the old and dilapidated pipeline that
had a crack on it.
The Ingush authorities are doing their best to repair the damaged gas
pipeline. Gas is being pumped to consumers in Ingushetia via a reserve
pipeline.
Kaloi Akhilgov, the press secretary of the Ingush president, told
Itar-Tass that the pipeline would be repaired in several hours.
