Iran-Uruguay to cooperate in agriculture
Tehran, Dec 20, IRNA – Uruguayan Deputy Foreign Minister, Nelson Fernandez, in a meeting with Iranian Agriculture Minister, Sadeq Khalilian, discussed ways of expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture here on Saturday.
According to the public relations office of the Agricultural Jihad Ministry, Khalilian said that both countries have suitable abilities and capacities for expansion of cooperation in the field of animal husbandry, fishery, honey production, and rice .
The Uruguayan official, by referring to Iran’s potentials in the field of agriculture, called for expansion of cooperation and expressed his country’s readiness to export beef to Iran./end
