Saudi Campaign to Relief Palestinians Signs 3 Agreements with UNRWA 2-Riyadh

The Saudi Campaign for Relief of Palestinian People continues to implement many
programs and various projects in Palestine to alleviate the suffering of the
Palestinian people, and signed several agreements with international organizations
and humanitarian institutions. the Campaign implemented as many as 64 relief and
humanitarian programs and projects in medical, social, educational and housing
fields as well as in kind assistance at a total cost of SR 969.988.764, in Palestine
in general and SR 165, 200, 915 million in Gaza relief programs and projects, he
said.

On her part, Karen Abu Zeid said that this occasion holds special significance to
her, as it coincided with the end of her tenure in office, by the end of the month
in addition to that the Kingdom Saudi Arabia-currently the vice chairmanship of
UNRWA- will assume chairmanship next month, and that the UNRWA has never stood in
need to Saudi Arabia, like it is now, she added.

Abu Zeid extended thanks to Saudi Arabia for its commitment to finance
rehabilitation and reconstruction of Nahar Al Bared Camp for Palestinian refugees in
Lebanon, through Saudi Development Fund (SDF), during 2010 at a cost of 25 million
Dollars.
