IRAN NOT INTERESTED IN PROLONGATION OF NUCLEAR ISSUE: LARIJANI

Tehran, June 8 (IRNA) - Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said Saturday that Tehran is not interested in prolongation of the nuclear issue. "We are not interested in prolongation of the nuclear issue. The IAEA has put forward a double-standard report, perhaps pursuing a long-term diplomacy for which they take time repeatedly," Larijani told reporters in Rasht (Gilan Province). Larijani said that Iran, however, does not seek buying time, rather, wants to solve the issue drastically. "We cooperated with the IAEA rightly and if they want to complicate the nuclear issue, they will in fact create problems for themselves," said Larijani. He said Majlis is ready to cooperate with government and officials in that connection and can relent necessary support for the purpose.
