FM: Iran ready to review other side’s proposals
Tehran, Dec 19, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran is ready to review the proposals for exchange of fuel from the other side, it is reported on Saturday.
Mottaki made the remarks in an interview with IRNA.
He said Iran has put its recent offer of nuclear fuel swap in the Kish Island on the table.
“We do not insist on our proposal,” he said, adding that “we aimed to open a door for the other side.”
He said that it is one step forward to prove our goodwill and a suitable opportunity for them.
Iran’s foreign minister said Tehran has not received any formal responses from the other side to its proposal yet./end
