SOCAR CHIEF OPENS ANOTHER GAS STATION IN TBILISI
Baku, December 17 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev has inaugurated SOCAR`s another gas station in Georgia. The total number of SOCAR`s gas stations across Georgia is 28, with four more to open by the end of the year.
Abdullayev told Georgian journalists here Azerbaijan “plans to strengthen its positions in the Georgian oil market”.
“Our goal is to get control of 80 percent of the Georgian oil market until 2010.”
Abdullayev also praised SOCAR`s role in strengthening gas supply in Georgia.
