SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTITIES TO BE SUPPORTED

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ At its scheduled meeting on Wednesday, the government gave some assignments and tasks to governors of capital city and provinces.
The government has charged the governors of Khovd and Sukhbaatar aimags to intensify promoting of small- and medium- sized enterprises (SME), reducing poverty and increasing employment.
Governors of the capital city and provinces were tasked to develop and encourage a movement "One village-one product", improve quality of local brand traditional products and increase kinds of goods, to enhance a production of the SMEs and create for the public conditions to join community cooperatives in order to reduce unemployment.
A task was also given to support a campaign to put livestock into economic circulation through developing initiatives to set up small- and medium-sized plants which process livestock-originated products and raw materials.
