KAZAKH EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN ORGANIZES OFFICIAL RECEPTION ON COUNTRY`S INDEPENDENCE DAY

Baku, December 16 (AzerTAc). The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan has organized today an official reception to mark the 18th anniversary of the country`s Independence Day.
Opening the event, ambassador Serik Primbetov briefed the participants on the history of his country`s independence.
He said fraternal relationship between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Nursultan Nazarbayev had successfully been continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The Ambassador underlined Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan enjoy friendly relations, and the two countries have always supported each other.
“I am sure that our mutual efforts will be directed at boosting bilateral ties for the sake of prosperity of our peoples and countries, as well as peace, security and stability in region,” said Primbetov.
Attending the event, minister of industry and energy Natig Aliyev congratulated the Kazakh people on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Aliyev, relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan started to develop intensively after they regained independence.
He stressed personal friendship between national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Nursultan Nazarbayev contributed to establishing bilateral relationship.
Officials, foreign ambassadors, MPs and others attended the event.
