New Iranian envoy to Croatia appointed

TEHRAN, Dec. 16 (MNA) -- Mohsen Sharif Khodaei has been officially appointed as Iran’s new ambassador to Zagreb, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.


Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki nominated Sharif-Khodaei for the post and President Mahmud Ahmadinejad approved the appointment.


Sharif Khodaei had previously served as Iran’s chargé d'affaires in the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic and also general director of the Foreign Ministry’s department for consular affairs.
