Chinese companies keen to invest in Iran's Khuzestan province
Beijing, Dec 16, IRNA – Visiting Khuzestan governor here on Wednesday echoed the Chinese companies' willingness to make investment in this province.
Ja'far Hejazi noted that the Chinese companies had invested over dlrs 20 billion in the fields of oil, gas and agriculture during the eight-year Sacred Defense.
He added the Chinese businessmen are willing to make investment in the fields of petrochemical programs, steel and cement.
Hejazi said the Chinese officials believe that there are huge potentials for further broadening of mutual ties in Khuzestan province.
Referring to the next month's Khuzestan province conference on investment opportunities, he added the event is a best venue to draw foreign investors and introduce the economic schemes across the country./end
