AZERBAIJAN TO BE THE WORLD`s NUMBER 3 FASTEST GROWING COUNTRY IN 2010, ECONOMIST INTELLIGENCE UNIT
Baku, 16 December (AzerTAc). The Economist Intelligence Unit, or EIU, has published its 2010 rankings of world countries in terms of GDP growth, putting Azerbaijan third with a forecasted increase of 9.5 percent.
Azerbaijan is ranked behind Qatar and Turkmenistan whose economy will see a 24.5 and 11 percent growth respectively, says the EIU, the world`s foremost provider of country, industry and management analysis.
Lithuania will be the slowest growing country next year with a record of -3.5 percent, the EIU forecasts.
