Iran's president to attend Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen
Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad leading a high ranking politico-economic delegation will leave for Copenhagen on Thursday to attend the “United Nations Climate Change Conference”, it was announced on Tuesday.
The Iranian president is to deliver a keynote speech to the conference.
The president is scheduled to confer with senior officials from different countries on ways to expand mutual relations and regional and global cooperation. The meetings will be held on the sidelines of the conference.
President Ahmadinejad is to receive Iranian nationals and businessmen residing in Denmark and will also attend a press conference during his stay there./end
