On the second day, a State Honored Sportsman and a silver medalist of the World Championship N.Togstsogt (51 kg) did not appear on the ring. According to D.Bandi, a senior coach of the selected team, it was done with the aim to express a protest against unfair contests. The coach said judges intentionally did not give points to Monkh-Erdene during his fight with the U.S boxer although the Mongolian's superiority was obvious.
"It was a fraud. This competitions had many frauds. That is why we decided not to have our 51-kg boxer competed," he explained.
