AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH IAEA DIRECTOR-GENERAL
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Austria and a permanent representative to the UN J.Enkhsaikhan has met with Yukiya Amano, a Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the "Niislel Times" daily reported Tuesday.
Mr Amano was elected as the IAEA's Director-General after ending electoral term of the former Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei in autumn this year. He officially took duties from ElBaradei December 1.
At the meeting, the sides raised issues on Mongolia-IAEA ties and the middle-term Country Programme Framework (CPF) to be co-realized in 2009-2014.
They shared views on establishing a regional center of combating cancer in Mongolia and international joint meeting to be held 2010 in Mongolia.
