US unable to help restore rights of Palestinians
Tehran, Dec 15, IRNA -- Visiting head of Political Bureau of Palestine Resistance Movement (Hamas) Khalid Mashal conferred on Monday with Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on issues of mutual interest and the regional developments.
Larijani said that Hamas has spearheaded the campaign against Israeli occupation.
The Islamic Revolution of Iran from the early days of its triumph has always backed the cause of Palestine and is proud of its approach.
There is no weapon for the Palestinians more effective than resistance to the occupation and that the resistance movement will help restore the legitimate rights of oppressed Palestinian nation, Larijani said.
Criticizing the US approach in dealing with the issue of Palestine, the Iranian Majlis speaker said the US Administration is not able to fulfill its promises and respect the legitimate rights of the Palestinians./end
