JI leader accuses west's conspiracies against Iran
Islamabad, Dec 15, IRNA – Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch here Monday accused the west of hatching conspiracies to weaken Iran's stability.
Talking to IRNA, he said that the only objective of US and west is to damage the Islamic Revolution.
He said that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has rightly pointed out that certain individuals, through law-breaking attitudes, tried to encourage people to act against the Islamic Republic system.
Some law-breakers try to incite people to fight with the Islamic system which led to insult to the image of the late Imam Khomeini, pointed out Ayatollah Khamenei.
"There is no doubt that the path which was founded by a man of God can not be destroyed by such groups," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Liaqat Baloch was of the view that a planed propaganda is underway against the Islamic state which is highly condemnable.
"Peace of Iran cannot be spoiled by such actions and I am convinced that western schemes against Iran will be failed”, he added.
He stressed the need for forging unity among Muslim world to encounter conspiracies against Islam.
“There is an evil conspiracy to destabilized a state that has been created after a decade long struggle of Iranian people in form of Islamic revolution”, opined religious leader.
Expressing his views the JI leader added that it is evident from history that US has been involved in conspiracies against Iran. “It is a long standing desire of US to weaken Iran”, he added.
“External powers are trying to weaken the foundation of Islamic revolution”, he believed Liaqat Baloch said that a group of people within Iran has become part of the anti-Iranian conspiracy which is unfortunate.
“Any move against the Islamic state by that group amounts to insult to the father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini (P)”, he added.
He said that the sincerity of te Iranian leadership with the Islamic system and the country cannot be questioned and it is impossible to destabilize such a strong democratic state.
“We are the followers of the Islamic Revolution and will always pray for the prosperity of Iran”, he stated.
