AZERBAIJANI FM AND SECRETARY OF IRAN`S SUPREME NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL DISCUSS REGIONAL SECURITY MATTERS
Teheran, December 14 (AzerTAc). Visiting Iran Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with Secretary of the Iran`s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili to discuss bilateral relations and regional security issues.
Jalili stressed foreign interference into regional security issues is unacceptable, adding security in the South Caucasus and Caspian Region is internal affair of the region`s countries. Bilateral security between Iran and Azerbaijan are important from this point of view, he noted.
Azerbaijani FM E. Mammadyarov stressed Azerbaijan-Iran relations are friendly. Mammadyarov noted official Baku contemplates ways to develop cooperation with Teheran.
