MINISTRY LIMITS SAKER FALCON HUNTING
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Tourism has decided to limit saker falcon hunting and catching, and has begun working out a related draft.
Mongolia planned to sell 292 saker falcons and present eight ones to foreign countries. As of this year, it has sold 280 falcons, and has presented eight birds to countries. If the government issues a resolution, a short-term ban on falcon hunting will start from the year 2010.
