CHRISTINA NOBEL AWARDED "FRIENDSHIP" MEDAL

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ On Monday, Mrs Christina Nobel, a citizen of the Republic of Ireland and head of the Christina Nobel Children's Fund was awarded the "Friendship" medal in accordance with a decree of the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj.
The medal is given for her significant contribution to establishing the fund in Mongolia and for the deeds for the Mongolian children and adolescents' sake.
The Christina Nobel Fund started its activities in Mongolia in 1997 with key aims to provide underprivileged children with education, render medical assistance to them, improve their social positions, give them working orientation, and to protect them from economic and sexual violence. This fund adheres to a basic principle "We always love and respect for the dignity of each child as an individual".
For the time being, the fund is realizing four biggest projects in Ulaanbaatar city, in Bulgan and Tov provinces with aims to help children in bad situation.
