NATURE PROTECTORS GATHER
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Nature conservation issues have been recently discussed at a theory-practical conference "Nature Protector-20 Years" in Ulaanbaatar.
The Ministry of Environment and Tourism has organized this event that has been attended by scholars in nature and environment sector, rural rangers, nature protectors and officials from special protected areas and national parks.
The representatives shared views on activities on nature preservation and protection with touching upon policies and measures being taken by government. At the event, a competition with USD 25,000 award was announced among nature protectors with the aim of improving and intensifying the efficiency of nature conservation campaign.
As of today, 482 people are working in local area as nature protector and 250 persons in special protected areas and national parks.
