MPRP FACTION MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The MPRP group in parliament held a meeting Monday to focus its attention on four main agendas. A deputy head of the group D.Dondog gave a briefing on the agendas discussed.
In connection with implementation of government action plan, the faction members will work in a tight schedule having definite assignments. In other words, the MPs will initiate and draft bills and draft resolutions and submit them to government.
After discussing a bill to create a title of "Honored Worker of State Service", the group's members considered that there is no need to have such a title.
An issue of introducing a Smart ID with a repayment condition was also debated at the meeting. The group made a decision to discuss this issue next week after having shared views with the Democratic Party faction in parliament.
One of the important issues discussed at the meeting was a President's veto on 2010 Budget Law. As the MPs foresee, in case the veto is accepted, the 2010 budget will be invalidated. MPRP group consider that it needs more time to seriously discuss this agenda.
