DIESEL FUEL PRICE INCREASED
Ulaanbaatar. /MONTSAME/. Price of retail sale of diesel fuel has increased by MNT 65 reaching at MNT 1315. Some sources explain the reason of price increase is caused from the Russian Rusneft Company that supplies diesel fuel to Mongolia.
The Russian Company has increased its price of diesel fuel by USD 66 to per ton. This Company constantly raised its fuel price in the recent three months. However, the price of petroleum is expected to be stable thanks to the Rusneft's decision to decrease its price of AI-92 type petroleum by USD 15 per ton and AI-80 type petroleum by USD 10.
Usage of diesel fuel covers about 40 percent of total oil consumption in Mongolia, whilst AI-92 type of petroleum accounts for 20-30 percent and AI -80 and other types of petroleum covers the remaining percent.
