NATIONAL LEADER HEYDAR ALIYEV COMMEMORATED IN BUCHAREST
Bucharest, December 13 (AzerTAc). A ceremony in commemoration of national leader Heydar Aliyev was organized by the Azerbaijani embassy here at the Heydar Aliyev alley.
During the event, Ambassador Eldar Hasanov told of Heydar Aliyev`s life and his contribution to strengthening Azerbaijan`s independence, building legal, secular and democratic state and establishment of closer Azerbaijan-Romania ties.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in Romania, Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Board of the Azerbaijan-Romania Culture and Youth Association, SOCAR`s office in Romania, Turkish-Tatar community, Azerbaijanis living here, media.
