Iran, Bahrain foreign ministers discuss regional issues
MANAMA, Dec. 12 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki who traveled to Bahrain to participate in the IISS regional security summit entitled “The Manama Dialogue” met with his Bahraini counterpart here on Saturday.
Bahraini Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa extended his thanks to Iranian delegation for attending the Manama summit.
Stressing the importance of Yemen’s stability, the two sides called on all countries to make tremendous efforts to restore peace and security in the region.
Regional issues and expansion of bilateral ties were among other issues discussed by the two officials.
IISS regional security summit entitled “The Manama Dialogue”, attended by over 300 delegates, including prime ministers, foreign and defense ministers, national security advisors and intelligence officials from 25 countries around the globe officially started its work this morning.
