Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Friday criticized imperialistic powers' ambitions and their unfair and selective approaches towards regional developments as well as their instrumental use of human rights.
In a meeting with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir in Khartoum on Friday, Mottaki said Palestinian nation should be supported to regain their legitimate rights.
Switching to Sudan, Mottaki said Iran is ready to use all its experience and potential to help materialization of the cause for united Sudan.
He hoped that Sudanese people will find constructive formulas that would guarantee national welfare, peace, calm and development in Sudan.
Al-Bashir in return said Iran and Sudan enjoy consolidated ties on the basis of Islam, which invites its believers to cooperation.
He said Tehran and Khartoum share similar stances on internationally and regionally related issues, including Zionist regime’s hostile policies on such regional subjects as Palestine, Lebanon and Gaza./end
