PROJECTS TO BE IMPLEMENTED WITH JAPANESE ASSISTANCE


Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ On Friday, a ceremony ran in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sign an intergovernmental note between Mongolia and Japan on realizing two projects.
The projects--"Introduction of a technology for producing pure energy by using solar energy" and "KP-1"--will be implemented with a non-refundable aid of JPY 590 million from the Japanese government and with food assistance amounting JPY 570 million. In addition, the government of Mongolia and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed an agreement on the assistance.
These documents were signed by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; the T.Kidokoro, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia; and by K.Onuki, deputy country director of the JICA for Mongolia.
