SPEAKER IN RUSSIA

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Parliament Speaker D.Demberel visited Thursday "Belaya Dacha" complex--an agricultural firm near Moscow, in the scope of his official visit to Russia.
The "Belaya Dacha" hi-tech complex company (White Summer Residence) is the leader in Russia for its agricultural products, quality and reputation. It mostly conducts greenhouse farming and sells finished products of fresh cut salad and peeled vegetables through its chain stores.
Two years ago, the company expanded its production with an investment from the McDonald's. Thanks to it, the company widened its greenhouse works and opened chain stores in Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg cities. Italy, Spain and Turkey are the main suppliers of vegetable seeds for the Belaya Dacha.
"We have about 10 thousand employees, and prepare 150 kinds of food products at orders. My company has been badly influenced by the global crisis, but the size of production has been increasing year by year. In view of an aim to overcome the crisis, we have received a soft loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). By doing so, my company will become a leader in the world," said the company's director-general A.V.Semenov.
Apart of vegs, the complex plants more than 300 kinds of flowers and 200 kinds of sowings. It also has a training center for equestrian, and trains over 300 children.
The Russia-Mongolia parliamentary group at the State Duma comprises 18 members. Mr Semenov is a member of both the parliamentary group and the State Duma.
The same day, Mr Demberel and his spouse watched Swan Lake in the Bolishoi theatre in Moscow. On Friday and Saturday, he will visit Saint Petersburg to meet authorities of the city's legislative body.
