STATE PRIZES AWARDED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution in Mongolia, some people were awarded state prizes pursuant to a decree of the President.
The title of State Honored Artist went to Ts.Tomorbaatar, a teacher of the "Music Hall" Institute of Theatre and Arts, and to D.Tomortsog, a soloist of the "Hurd" rock band.
L.Nyamsuren, an architector, became the State Honored Constructor; Z.Altai MP and J.Myagmarsuren, a general manager of the "Odriin sonin" daily--State Honored Cultural Figure; D.Erdembileg, a freelance artist--State Honored Figure of Arts; Ch.Gombosuren, a senior figure of Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and D.Tangad, a citizen of Selenge aimag's Mandal soum--State Honored Economist; D.Lamjav, an civil society issues expert; G.Myagmarjav, a deputy rector of the Defense University in charge of scientific works, and P.Uvsh, a scientific staffer of the Management Academy--State Honored Teacher.
The Order of Sukhbaatar was bestowed upon R.Amarjargal, R.Gonchigdorj, S.Oyun MPs; B.Buyadaa, a teacher and coach of the Institute of Physical Culture; N.Jantsan, Vice Head of the Constitutional Court; Ts.Gombosuren, a senior figure of the MPRP and former Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sh.Vanchaarai, a senior writer; Ts.Oold, a senior figure of the MPRP; P.Tsogzol, a teacher of the Institute of Cinematic Art; and Ts.Sukhbaatar, the MPRP's Secretary.
