6th INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR SCIENCE OLYMPIAD ‘VERY IMPORTANT’ FOR AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 10 December (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s deputy FM Hafiz Pashayev has praised the Baku-hosted 6th International Junior Science Olympiad, saying it was “very important” not only for students participating in it but also for the country itself.
Speaking at the Olympiad`s closing ceremony, Pashayev, who also heads the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, said: “Reforms to develop education and science in the country are supported through this kind of events, which raises youth`s interest in this fields.”
Pashayev hoped the Olympiad would “bring peoples closer to each other”.
He also praised the organization of the contest.
“The Olympiad was very well-organized, and participants also praised its organization.”
