Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ As of the 1st of December, 2009, 1,560.8 thousand adult animals have been lost that is equal to 3.6 percent of total livestock.
Compared with the same period of the previous year, the number of losses of adult animals increased by 1,248.8 thousand heads. Out of losses of adult animals, 90.1 percent were camels, cattles and horses and 9.9 percent were goats and sheep.
As the 1st of December, 2009, it was harvested 391.7 thous.tons of cereals in total, 151.0 thous.tons potatoes, 77.0 thous.tons vegetables, and prepared 893.4 thous.tons hay harvest.
Compared with the same period of the previous year, volume of cereals and potatoes were increased by 181.0 thous.tons or 85.9 per cent, 16.5 thous.tons or 12.3 per cent, but volume of vegetables and hay harvest were decreased 1.5 thous.tons or 1.9 per cent and 115.9 thous.tons or 11.5 per cent, respectively.
