SWINE FLU CASES IN STATISTICS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ As of 10:00 a.m. of 1st of December, 2009, total 1,162 people infected with swine flu virus (H1N1). 793 ones or 68.2 per cent out of them recorded at the Ulaanbaatar city and remaining 369 people or 31.8 per cent were recorded in 21 aimags.
Out of total recorded virus cases in aimags, several of them have recorded higher prevalence of pandemic (H1N1), namely 56 people or 4.8 per cent recorded in Uvurkhangai, 30 people or 2.6 per cent--in Selenge, 28 people or 2.4 per cent--in Orkhon and Dornogovi, 27 people or 2.3 per cent--in Khovd, 26 people or 2.2 per cent--in Darkhan-Uul, 25 people or 2.2 per cent--in Govisumber, 23 people or 2.0 per cent--in Dornod, and 19 people or 1.6 percent--in Tuv aimag respectively.
The death toll reached 23 people, 3 of them were pregnant women.
