PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV DISCUSS INTERPARLIAMENTARY TIES WITH PRESIDENT OF FRENCH SENATE
Paris, December 10 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met Wednesday here with President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher.
It was stressed during the meeting that expansion of interparliamentary ties contributes to Azerbaijan-French bilateral relations. The parties noted Azerbaijani President`s official visit to France is important for further enhancing bilateral ties. The role of friendship groups in strengthening interparliamentary ties was highlighted.
The sides spoke of importance of cooperation between legislative bodies of both countries. They shared their opinions on the peace talks on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional issues.
