CHIEF OF ASSOCIATION OF DUTCH FRIENDS OF AZERBAIJAN ELECTED PRESIDENT OF SENATE
Baku, 9 December (AzerTAc). Rene van der Linden, Chairman of the Association of Dutch friends of Azerbaijan, has been elected the President of the Netherlands` Senate.
From 2005 to 2008 Van der Linden was president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and his tenure was marked with the adoption of a resolution supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
