Iranian envoy meets with Russian minister of natural resources
Moscow, Dec 9, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Seyyed Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi met with Russian Minister of Natural Resources Yuri Trutnev here on Tuesday.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed exchange of experiences and joint cooperation in natural resources and environmental issues.
The two sides agreed to support Asian Leopard which is an endangered spicies and consider ways to prevent full extinction of this animal.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in a TV program last Thursday named Iranian leopard and called it a rare animal.
Asian leopards have been totally extinct in the region of Caucasus./end
