Moneefa Oil Field project to begin production in 2013:Al-Falikh

Al-Khobar, December 08, SPA -- Moneefa Oil Field project will begin production in
2013 and the project will be completed in 2015, according to Saudi Aramco's Chief
Executive Khalid Al-Falih.


Moneefa will eventually have capacity to pump 900,000 barrels per day (bpd), he
said in a speech he delivered on December 4 in India and posted on Aramco’s
website on Monday and quoted by Arab News today.


Moneefa is the last of a series of large oilfield development projects scheduled in
the world’s top oil exporter. Saudi Aramco completed projects earlier this year
that took its total capacity to 12.5 million barrels per day (bpd), the website
report said.
