“GALA” INVITED TO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Baku, 8 December (AzerTAc). Film “Gala” made by Azerbaijani filmmakers, has been invited to the 14th International Film Festival of Kerala.
The 14th International Film Festival of Kerala will be held in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital city of Kerala, from 11th to 18th December 2009. The festival aims at presenting a selection of the best of World Cinema and a competition section especially devoted to films from Asian, African and Latin American countries. To encourage young and upcoming filmmakers, there is an award for the Best Debut filmmaker from these countries.
The annual International Film Festival of Kerala is organized by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, Department of Cultural Affairs, and Government of Kerala.
The presentation of film “Gala” was held this year on September 23 at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
