MOJ news agency reported Peugeot CEO Jean-Marc Gales saying, “Iran makes up 20 percent of Peugeot’s global market, and Iranian customers are fond of Peugeot sedans more than customers in other countries. For this reason Iran is of great importance for Peugeot.”

In a meeting with IKCO director he highlighted Iranian manufacturers’ capability in building car parts and called for further exploitation of this capability by expanding mutual cooperation and gaining a greater share of the global market.

Gales who will be traveling to Iran for his first time added that in his meetings with car manufacturers he will review projects and plans to enhance cooperation.
