BAKU HOSTS INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON COPYRIGHT AND DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT
Baku, 7 December (AzerTAc). Two-day international seminar on the theme of “Copyright and digital environment: fight against piracy and other problems” opened in Baku on December 7. The seminar is organized by the Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and World Organization for Intellectual Property. Head of the national Copyright Agency Prof Kamran Imanov made opening remarks at the seminar.
The event will feature several reports on the theme of intellectual property and piracy, including “Digital environment and the improvement of promotion of rights for intellectual property in Azerbaijan” and “About national development strategy in the field of the copyright and other rights for intellectual property” by Kamran Imanov, “Internet-agreements of the World Organization for Intellectual Property: Protection of copyright and appropriate rights within the digital online environment” by Mihály Ficsor, Chairman of the Central and Eastern European Copyright Alliance, etc.
