GABP GOT NEW HEAD

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decision made at an irregular cabinet meeting held last Thursday, Ts.Sergelen was appointed the head of the General Authority for Border Protection (GABP)--a regulatory agency of the government.
Ts.Sergelen was born 1966 in Choibalsan city, Dornod province. He lives with his spouse and children. He graduated the Military Institute at the former Ministry of Social Security (now General Intelligence Agency) in 1984-1989 and the Management Academy of Defense in 1995-1997. He comlpleted High Courses of the Academy of Frontier Troops of Russia in 2000 and the Police Academy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2007. Ts.Sergelen has a profession of military operational tactics, speaks Russian and English.
In 1989-1992, Ts.Sergelen was deputy head of the battle training of outposts at frontier military unit in Dornod province, in 1992-1995--a head of an outpost at military unit in Zamyn-Uud, Dornogobi province, in 1997-2001--a commander of a military of unit in Ongon soum, Sukhbaatar province, in 2001-2006--a commander of a military unit in Dornod province.
From October 2006, he worked as a deputy head of the GABP in charge of Administrative Management.
