Larijani: Iran adamant to support Hamas, Hizbollah
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here Thursday that Iran supports Hamas and Hizbollah because they defend their land.
Addressing a seminar in commemoration of local martyrs, Larijani said some countries criticize Iran for supporting Hizbollah and Hamas, because they consider the two as “terrorists.”
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran does not at all conceal supporting Hamas and Hizbollah. “We say clearly that we support Hamas and Hizbollah.”
He added that those criticizing Iran should not imagine, that by charging Hizbollah and Hamas as "terroristsone", one would get extremely angry.
The US which has had enormous economic wealth and military might, brought fiasco in Iraq, he added.
“Americans’ failure in Iraq has been so appalling that all countries confess to their humiliating defeat internationally,” he noted.
