"CHIO CHIO SAN" TO BE STAGED IN THEATRE
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet (SATOB) is intensively rehearsing "Chio Chio San" (Madama Buttefly) opera by Giacomo Puccini for the 44th performance. It will be given on Italian language.
A role of Chio Chio San has been played by 10 singers. This time, it will be performed by E.Saran, a singer who has been residing in the USA. As she told, she arrived home to take part in this opera only.
"To play this role was my dream and order of my teacher Kh.Urtnasan, People Actress of Mongolia. I am very happy," she said.
The opera will start in the theatre December 13 onward.
