IRREGULAR CABINET MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ An irregular cabinet meeting was held Thursday to make some decisions.
The money will be allotted from the package of Finance Minister to mark the 20th anniversary of democratic movement of Mongolia nationwide. Other money will also go from this package for covering expense of a visit of a delegation headed by the President Ts.Elbegdorj to Denmark to take part in a summit meeting of the United Nations (UN) on global climate change to be held December 2009 in Copenhagen.
The Ministry of Health will allot MNT 225.4 million from its package for cash prizes to athletes who won medals in the Deaflympics, FILA World and Asian championships, Summer Universiade and Asian Martial Arts Games.
Head of the Information and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, national coordinator of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and of the Kyoto Protocol, board member of the Adaptation Fund D.Dagvadorj was appointed as the special envoy in charge of climate change issues.
