KOICA IMPLEMENTS PROJECT

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has completed a project of transferring all historical data on Mongolian climate to the E-system and installing up-to-date system in archives.
This project has been implemented in a section of state archive and data fund of the National Agency of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment Monitoring (NAMHEM) with a non-refundable aid of USD 1.3 million from the KOICA for two years. The Climate Service of S.Korea worked as the general implementer, the "KDC" company was a general performer.
Thanks to the project, standards have been improved of archive materials storage equipped with the latest system of the high tech and a capacity of 30 Terabyte virtual environments.
