AZERI PEDIATRICIAN TO ATTEND INTERNATIONAL NEONATOLOGY CONGRESS IN NORTHERN CYPRUS

Baku, December 4 (AzerTAc). Director of the Azerbaijan Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics, Professor Nasib Guliyev will attend the National Neonatology Congress in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The conference will bring together pediatricians from Turkic-speaking countries, as well as Russia and Ukraine.
Guliyev is scheduled to make a report on prospects of developing the pediatrics in Azerbaijan.
The event will discuss issues on how to improve health status of every newborn infant; work for the advancement of knowledge in the area of neonatal medicine; undertake programmatic actions which address major regional and global neonatal health issues; promote education on neonatal health issues through support of an international congress, regional forums, and other activities; encourage training and research in all aspects of neonatology; advocate for the universal rights of  newborn infants; collaborate and cooperate with national, regional and international bodies with similar interests in promoting the health and rights of  newborn infants.
