AZERI ENVOY TO UN ATTENDS KOSOVO INDEPENDENCE HEARINGS
Baku, December 3 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s permanent representative to UN Agshin Mehdiyev has today attended hearings on the legitimacy of declaration of independence by Kosovo at the International Court of Justice in Hague.
Mehdiyev addressed the event to reiterate official Baku`s backing of Serbia`s position.
The full title of the case is “Accordance with International Law of the Unilateral Declaration of Independence by the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government of Kosovo”.
